Lucía Olmo García

Lucía is a doctor in Chemistry, with a strong background in Analytical Chemistry, including separative techniques (gas and liquid chromatography), mass spectrometry and chemometrics. Her field of expertise comprises the application of different Metabolomics approaches to the study of secondary metabolites in plant and food matrices, as well as in biological fluids.

She carried out her PhD project within the FQM297 group, under the supervision of Prof. Alegría Carrasco Pancorbo and Prof. Alberto Fernández Gutiérrez. After two years at Imperial College London, she returned to the University of Granada with a postdoctoral contract from the Andalusian Regional Government. Currently, she holds an Interim Substitute Lecturer position at the Department of Analytical Chemistry.
