Irene Serrano García

Irene Serrano is a PhD student in Chemistry at the Department of Analytical Chemistry of the University of Granada. She graduated in Food Science and Technology at the University of Barcelona in 2019 and completed a master's degree in Chemical Sciences and Technologies at the University of Granada in 2020. That same year she obtained a FPU grant from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and started her thesis in Food Metabolomics. She is currently working on the study and characterisation of several olive tree matrices (such as roots, leaves and stems), vegetable oils and avocado by liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (LC-MS).
